Robert loves the challenge of translating a cluttered image seen in life into the essence of that image focusing on color and shape. His interpretation results in the relaxing and happy visuals characterized by his artwork. Robert's signature painterly style has captivated new and seasoned art collectors with his simplistic yet sophisticated flair. He shares an imaginative vision through his paintings that have won several awards in juried art shows. Robert enjoys rich warm colors as well as texture and loves to infuse both in his paintings. Much time and patience is meticulously spent caressing multiple layers of vivid translucent acrylics with brush and palette knife on canvas thus creating the depth and color intensity in each work.
